Our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Team

CMG’s journey with PBS started in 2013 with the development of a PBS strategy which outlined key objectives around raising awareness of the complex needs of people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours in CMG. Other objectives included governance of restrictive practices and developing more intensive and targeted training for staff.

We now have a dedicated PBS Team which form an integral part of CMG’s Clinical and Quality Team.

The PBS Team not only manage all referrals in CMG and co-ordinate staff training, but also develop industry leading projects. The team is comprised:
